Hellogoodbye started their career in 2001 in Huntington Beach, California. At first, it was just Forrest Kline and Jesse Kurvink. They just wanted to entertain friends and impress girls with their songs. Time passed and they started to get a little more serious after some mini-tours through Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. The tour spread the word of their name and they signed with Drive-Thru Records in 2003. In November of 2005, they released their DVD OMG HGB DVD ROTFL
featuring touring footage and 5 music videos of songs they released in their early EP. In December of 2005, they won the MTV2 Dew Circuit Breakout award.

Later, in 2007, their hit single Here (In Your Arms) became popular again and hit #14 on the Billboard Hot 100 Music Charts. The band members are currently Forrest Kline (Vocals, Guitar), Aaron Flora (Drums), Travis Head (Bass), Joseph Marro (Keyboard), and Andrew Richards (Guitar). They have claimed to working on a new album after releasing the two singles for download as well as a music video for free.
